En The Simple Password Generator

You can finally generate strong passwords that you can easily remember !

Help (expand/collapse)

Using the Simple Password Generator, you are able to create an apparently strong password you can easily remember.
The generator will use a secret word (for instance your name or a friend name or an object that you like, or anything you will remember easily) and a key number (a birth date, an id number, ...) in order to compute an apparently strong password.

To do so, the generator will first replace some of the letters you used by a capital letter or a number or even a symbol that looks like the initial letter. For example an 'a' can become 'A' or '@'. The generator will then append two special characters and your private key number at the begining or at the end of the password.

Security notice (expand/collapse)

Using the Simple Password Generator, you can remember your strong password easily but a hacker will think your password is totally random and thus hard to crack. A hacker will probably need to investigate something like 10^50 (that means more than a billion of billion of billion of billion of billion) or even more possible passwords to find yours, because he does not know how you built it.

Off course, if someone knows your secret word and key numbers, your password will became quite weak ! so keep them for yourself and come here again in order to compute a new password often.

Depending on the security level you want to achieve you'll have to change your password sooner or later. Let's say each month for your more secured accounts (like your bank account for instance), twice a year for your standard accounts (for exemple your mail account, your instant messaging account, ...) and once a year for your less secured accounts (your personnal computer for example). Of course, the more you will change your passwords, the more secured you'll become ! So don't hesitate to come here again and generate new password, it's free !.
